Arushi Kalia

Arushi completed her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. During her undergrad, she spent two summers working at Mass General Hospital and one at the Nair lab at Tufts, where she worked closely with Trevor.

Arushi grew up in Delhi, India and moved to Boston at 15. She realized she wanted to pursue a career in chemical engineering after taking her first ever chemistry class at the age of 12. She found her passion for biochemistry after her first lab internship at Mass General when she was 17.

Outside of work, Arushi’s passions include photography and traveling (and dogs). She enjoys spending her time outdoors and going on hikes. Her favorite travel destination is London, England.
